Albums

Still Water

Independenly released in 2009, Still Water was recorded during  2008 at Philadelphia area recording studio Milkboy Recording.  Completley self- financed and self produced, Still Water is Bill O’Meara’s first solo effort after years of fronting various bands - mainly Dirty Blue and Morning Story.  Still Water started as a six song “EP” of new material Bill brought to producer/engineer Tim Sonnefeld (Milkboy) and eventually evolved into an 11 song album comprising the new material and some older material from Bill’s days with Morning Story and Dirty Blue.  Some of the tracks on the songs “Chasing Hope,” and “Step Right Back” were actually recorded in the summer of 2006 by Morning Story a few weeks after the band opened up for Bon Jovi.  Shortly after recording had commenced on the long awaited Morning Story album the band broke up and the album was never released.  Fortunately Bill recovered the material and released it on “Still Water.”

Dirty Blue

Recorded mostly live at Milkboy Recording the Dirty Blue album was made and released when Bill and long time collaborator Nate Graham were still teenagers.  The Dirty Blue record featured the first version of Bill’s song “Passin Time” which went on to win a Q102 FM radio contest to land the band (by then titled “Morning Story”) in a Philadelphia Battle of the Bands, that they eventually won - securing a spot to open for Bon Jovi at Citizens Bank Park.
